Secondary students have personalised learning programs designed to guide them toward their goals and chosen career pathways.
We aim to open up a world of opportunities for students and realise each individual’s pathway to success is different. Whether it is pursuing a university course, vocational pathway, going straight into the workforce or gaining an apprenticeship. Our vast subject selections and extra-curricular programs enable students to access learning opportunities that guide them toward their post-school study and career choices.ÌýÌý
Year 7-10 students are taught under the guidance of the Australian Curriculum and WA K-10 outline. Every student studies English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Physical Education and Health, and Biblical Studies. They also gain experience in a range of elective subjects during the first two years of secondary schooling, participating in electives such as French, Music, Computing, Food and Textiles, and Sport.Ìý
In Year 9 and 10, a range of elective subjects compliment core subjects, allowing students to specialise in their chosen fields including Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering, Drama, Materials, Outdoor Education, Design and Digital Technologies, French and Economics.  Ìý
Digital technologies are integrated into all subjects at St Stephen’s School, equipping students with the latest skills to succeed in a digital world. Every student has access to specialist Digital Learning mentors and the School’s iDigital program promotes strong digital citizenship and responsible use of technology.ÌýÌý
Our School operates under a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program Many2One from Year 5-12, which allows students to use multiple devices for educational purposes.Ìý
In senior Secondary School, Year 11 and 12 students define which pathway will best set them up for success. Each student has access to our Career advisors to work towards finding the best path for them. This could be a direct entry pathway, certification entry pathway or a further training or employment pathway. Read more about the ATAR pathway or VET pathway.Ìý
